.Review
a festival to remember every year. this year was the first i'd been where a metal band was playing on the main-stage. while that meant more security and no mosh pits by the stage, it also meant far better sound quality and some good exposure to a harder scene. living sacrifice didn't dissapoint. after a sound check including a deep growl of "praise the lord", unlike something you'd hear most sunday mornings at back-woods baptist, they opened up with a well-known and circulated song from their 2nd most recent album, reborn. the track was enthroned and the crowd really seemed to dig it. they played mostly songs from reborn and their newest project, the hammering process. all were well received, and when a second percussionist started playing on a newer song, the sound was truely impressive. they held the attention of the large, diverse crowd well and it seemed that everyone enjoyed the show. next up were blindside then POD, but in my book, ls was the show of the night.
